Pending Freeman Trial Delayed Again

Once Again the Municipal Courts of Bexar County Texas has delayed the trial of James Freeman. James was arrested on June 23 of 2018 outside the Leon Valley city offices when the Chief of Leon Valley Police, Joe Salvaggio called a fake press conference.
At this time I am unaware of when the next attempt at a trial will be.

It's not atypical for a government prosecutor to delay proceedings if there is some question as to the veracity of the case. Ordinarily, the defense would file a speedy trial demand at this point. Speedy trial demands are quite effective when the State has a weak case.

The Civil Suit in Federal Court is also being impacted by the failure to move the existing criminal cases forward or the filing on new charges as suggested by the Chief of Police in Leon Valley.
