This is the real problem with auditors pushing the limit. The enforcement. Are the cops LAW enforcement? Or a debating team.
An hour to accomplish what SHOULD have been over and done in 30 seconds or less.
Cop: License, registration, insurance, please.
Driver: I don't have them. I don't need them. I'm not driving. I'm traveling.
Cop: Second try (holding up two fingers). License, registration, insurance, please
Driver: You have no authority over me.
Cop: Please step out of the vehicle, Sir.
Driver: No
Cop: Second try, Sir. (holding up two fingers). Please step out
Driver: Go *advertiser censored* yourself.
Cop: puts on his face shield and gloves, places hands on top edge of glass and says, Third try. Please step out or I will break your window, pull you out and arrest you.
Driver: Please articulate the crime
Cop: Pulls window out of frame, shattering it, reaches in, opens the handle, extricates the driver, cuffs him, places him under arrest, into the car, booked, and now any further debate can be done between the driver and the judge.

To me, it seems like people that NEED the police are misdialing 912, the Leisure Police instead of 911 when they call. This video is more the rule rather than the exception when police come on scene. What can be handled by COMPETANT enforcement in under a minute can take hours to run its course.
And as Mr. America says, "THAT'S why auditors do what they do" (and get away with it)
